"Whatever you want, make it fast — I've got work to do, dammit!"

(Or just come harass him in person over here on the Farm!)

[Hiccup nods, grinning sheepishly at the statement, though his mouth twitches at the edges. Dumb arm pain.] That's something. [As if he didn't already feel guilty enough about using Albert's medical knowledge.

After a second, the viking peels back the vest, though the fur tries to stick, thanks to the still-wet blood. His arm's pretty red, but the bleeding has slowed a relatively good amount, and the wounds have clear edges instead of jagged, torn ones. There sure are a lot of 'em, though, and Hiccup turns a shade paler at the sight. Miserable Berk life or not, he wasn't as used to blood as he would have previously claimed.]

Yeah...

[He's not really all too sure which part specifically he's agreeing with, but he'll wrap the arm right back up and wander over to the lab with Albert. He's all for that feeling better stuff, and avoiding stitches sounds pretty cool, too, even if that's not a guarantee. After taking a deep breath, Hiccup glances over with a mumble.]

Sorry I keep doing stupid things.

[It's a familiar apology, for him, though the exact phrasing isn't always the same.]

[It went so fast, Hiccup's half-wondering if that was meant to be a quick slap upside the head.

Despite not understanding the reference--which he's baffled by not only because of lack of knowledge, but because Albert just said 'Boo-Boo', and that seemed absurd--the comment makes him feel a little better. Gobber would have just agreed with him and left it at that. Stoick would have lectured him, probably. Hiccup had expected both of those, really, but he can live without those options. Somehow, his heart will go on. Just as is arm will heal, so will he.]

Well, at least there's something there that lets you put up with me.

[And look, his tone is starting to go back to its familiar wry self instead of the weaker, stunned one. HE'S ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY ALREADY.]
