Given the variety of worlds ... I wouldn't count on it. [Hm hm. Wouldn't help against explosion and self-destruct, like that time with the bugs - and man, he's only now realizing just how long he's really been here - but it's still a definite advantage towards things like the Lighthouse and the time the Game Corner was threatened.]
It's more than likely that they have their own scientists, possibly even a lab. My opinion is that dabble in a lot more than explosives.
